Privacy policy
Last updated 28 October 2026
This page explains, in plain English, what personal data we collect when you use this website or contact us, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. We have written it with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 in mind.
Who we are
TEXCA & Associates ("we", "us") is a firm of chartered accountants at Sri Nivasa Building, No. 1528/55, S End B Cross Rd, Jayanagara 9th Block, J. P. Nagar, Bengaluru 560069, Karnataka. We decide how the data described here is used. You can reach us at [email protected] or +91 99808 71971.
What we collect, and why
When you fill in the booking form
We collect your name, mobile number, what describes you (for example, service business), the service you need, your preferred date and any note you add. We also record the page you sent it from and, if you arrived from an advert or a link, the campaign details in that link.
We use this only to reply to you, arrange your consultation and understand which of our pages and adverts bring enquiries. The form sends your details to us by email, and opens WhatsApp with the same details so you can send them to us there. Nothing is sent on WhatsApp until you press send.
When you call, email or message us on WhatsApp
We receive your number or email address and whatever you choose to tell us. WhatsApp is run by Meta and its own privacy policy applies to messages sent through it.
When you become a client
The documents and financial information you share for our work are covered by our engagement terms and our professional duty of confidentiality as chartered accountants, not just by this page.
What is stored on your device
- Your "who are you" choice is saved in your browser (local storage, under the name
texca_persona) so the site shows the most relevant services on your next visit. It never leaves your device. Clear your browser's site data to remove it. - Campaign details: the first page you landed on, the website that linked to us, and any
campaign tags in the link (such as
utm_sourceor a Google or Facebook ad click ID) are kept in your browser only until you close the tab, so they can be attached to a form you send. - Analytics cookies, if you allow them, are set by Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity (see below).
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages help people, and we may use Microsoft Clarity to see, in aggregate, where people get stuck on a page. They load only after you press "Accept" on the cookie notice; if you press "Decline", or choose nothing, neither is loaded. Once loaded, they set cookies and receive technical information such as your device type, approximate location and the pages you visit. We do not send them your name, number or the text of the form, and Google's advertising features are switched off.
You can change your choice at any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page. Your choice is
saved in your browser as texca_consent.
These are the actions we count:
| Event | What it means |
|---|---|
select_persona | You chose who you are (for example, startup founder). |
call_click | You tapped a phone number, and where on the page it was. |
whatsapp_click | You tapped a WhatsApp button, and where. |
book_click | You tapped a "Book" button, and where. |
form_start | You started filling in the booking form. |
generate_lead | You sent the form: your business type and the service you chose. Not your name or number. |
email_click | You tapped our email address. |
google_reviews_click | You opened our Google reviews. |
directions_click | You opened directions to our office. |
faq_open | You opened a question in a list of questions. |
scroll_75 | You scrolled three-quarters of the way down a page. |
Maps and scheduling
Our office map is provided by Google Maps, and the optional online scheduler by Cal.com. Neither loads until you choose to show it. Once loaded, that provider's own privacy policy applies.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with the services that help us run this website and reply to you: our website host (Cloudflare), the service that emails your form to us (Web3Forms), Google, Microsoft and Meta (WhatsApp), each for the purpose described above. Some of these providers may process data outside India. We may also disclose data where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for up to two years if you do not become a client, and then delete them. Client records are kept for as long as the law and our professional rules require.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and how we use it
- correct or update it
- delete it, where we are not required to keep it
- withdraw a consent you gave, for example to analytics cookies
- nominate someone to act for you if you are unable to
Write to [email protected] with the subject "Privacy request". We will reply within 30 days.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please contact the partner responsible for privacy at [email protected] first. If we cannot resolve it, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we use your data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
